Accomplished teachers in dance, martial arts, and contemplative movement practices present an invitation to move your body in "3 Minutes Moving" (3MM), a series of short videos available for free online.

3MM provides easy access to physical engagement with three-minute movement experiences designed to increase physical engagement and promote health and wellness. These practices are for every body; no previous movement training is needed. There are no rules. Participants may move through 3MM practices in any order. Find one form and practice it everyday, or pick and choose along the way.

January offerings include contributions from UC Santa Cruz dance lecturers Rashad PridgenDamara Vita Ganley, and Vanessa Sanchez; UC Riverside dance faculty Joel Mejia SmithLinda Holiday from Aikido of Santa Cruz; and Valerie Moselle from Luma Yoga. More videos will be added each month, through the end of June.

3MM is a project of UCSC Online Education in collaboration with dance faculty of the UC Santa Cruz Theater Arts Department, with support from Porter College and the Arts Division at UCSC, and the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History.
