A Foodways Benefit: Advancing the Road Map to Student Food Security

This benefit event directly supports UC Santa Cruz’s efforts to reduce student food insecurity on campus and achieve the UC system’s goal of reducing food insecurity by half by 2025. The event will include tours of the UC Santa Cruz Farm where you can see firsthand how the Center for Agroecology and UCSC partners are working to feed and nourish students. Attendees will learn more about UCSC's robust food security efforts and provide further opportunity for guests to increase support for students’ basic needs.

This extraordinary evening features special guest chef Brandon Jew, executive chef of Mister Jiu’s in San Francisco and winner of two 2022 James Beard awards. We hope that you will join us!
