Join a mother and daughter creative team to make art out of paper and simple supplies! We'll start with a tiny magazine out of a single sheet of paper. Then we'll make interactive art you can send to family, friends and pen pals. Bring your imagination!

After graduating from UCSC with a BA in Community Studies, Julie Glaser Ray (Oakes, '94) worked in development and communications for Los Angeles education nonprofits. She moved to Arizona in 2004 where she started a graphic design and marketing business, Julie Ray Creative, focused on arts, culture, and nonprofits. Mira was born in Tucson and lives in Chandler, Arizona. She loves gymnastics, digging in the mud, and stuffies, and last year, started her "Small Drawing Business."
