Banana Slug Share: The Art of Survival in Mind, Body & Spirit

Based on a lifetime career as an expedition photographer covering ever-changing cultures and wilderness places on the planet (which began in a darkroom at Kresge), Wiltsie will talk about many kinds of survival and the spirit of life.

Gordon Wiltsie is an author, explorer and National Geographic photographer who began his career in the darkrooms at Kresge College and went on to lead and/or photograph more than 100 ever-changing assignments to some of the wildest places on earth. The Explorers Club called him one of the leading expedition photographers of his generation and for more than 45 years his images and stories have helped to inspire his generation to get outdoors and explore the planet themselves.
