Basic Needs Student Support Webinar: Navigating On Campus Housing and Dining Support for Student Basic Needs- An Overview of Efforts to Date and Planning Ahead for FY 21
Amidst Spring Quarter adjustments there are so many changes to the student experience that our Basic Needs team of staff, faculty, student leaders, and community partners want to share resources available to support your success! Our Campus Basic Needs Co-Chair, Tim Galarneau, and Student Basic Needs Online Programming Lead, Brenda Walker, will facilitate a set of presentations across food preparation and distribution, Cal Fresh enrollment and renewal, off campus and on campus housing assistance, crisis management and support, and Financial Aid assistance in the era of a pandemic.

Navigating On Campus Housing and Dining Support for Student Basic Needs: An Overview of Efforts to Date and Planning Ahead for FY 21 (Monday, noon-1pm)
Featuring: Sue Matthews, AVC of Colleges, Housing, & Educational Services (CHES); & Bill Prime, Executive Director of UCSC Dining Services.
This session will provide an overview of how CHES has adapted to COVID for on campus housing this spring and what will be taking place for Summer and Fall 2020. In addition to on campus housing updates this session will also provide an overview of how Dining has adapted to COVID for on campus food services this spring and what will be taking place for Summer and Fall 2020, Lastly, this session will also connect and speak to ongoing partnerships across CHES and basic needs to highlight the collaborative work underway to support student success!
