Join us for a 30-minute introduction to the field of bioinformatics and the UCSC Silicon Valley Extension certificate program.
Designed to give you a sense of what it takes to begin a bioinformatics career, Janani Rangarajan, M.S., bioinformatician and program chair, will discuss the tools and technologies used to make meaning from health data, the foundation for cures and vaccines being discovered each day.
The event begins with a very brief overview of upcoming courses in the Bioinformatics certificate program and jumps right into Q&A.
