Bird Walk with the Bird School Project

The UC Santa Cruz Arboretum & Botanic Garden has partnered with the Bird School Project to offer free education guided bird tours to Arboretum members and students. Volunteers on event day can also attend.

The bird walks are scheduled every 2nd Sunday from 7:30 am - 9 am, beginning June 10 and ending October 14, 2018. Attendees meet at Norrie's Gift Shop. The Arboretum's front gate opens at 7:15 am and closes promptly at 7:45am. Please arrive early or on time.

All attendees are encouraged to bring a pair of binoculars, a notebook, and a bottle of water. These items will be available for purchase or to borrow at the tour. Space is limited to 15 attendees so register early!

Kevin Condon, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Bird School Project, has graciously offered his time and energy to as an opportunity foster greater appreciation of the birds that call the Arboretum home.
