Black Geographies: a roundtable discussion

Sociology@UCSantaCruz will host a roundtable discussion with Assistant Professors of Sociology Camilla Hawthorne and Naya Jones, along with students of their Black Geographies lab will present on the work of the group. 

Camilla Hawthorne is a critical human geographer and interdisciplinary social scientist broadly interested in the racial politics of migration and citizenship, inequality, social movements, and Black geographies. 

Naya Jones bridges research + practice as a geographer, healing arts practitioner, cultural worker, and strategist.
