Five Element Qigong & Taoist Meditation
This drop-in class meets weekly to practice Five Element Qigong. Based in Chinese Medical theory, Qigong exercises tap into the power of mental focus on the physical body. The gentle movements of these exercises combined with breathing, helps to increase energy, improve mood, and promote overall well-being. Each class will consist of qigong exercises for self-healing, a guided meditation and a brief discussion on a topic related to your health and vitality. Classes are great for beginners as well as for those with previous qigong experience. All levels of fitness and ability are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Layers are also recommended as it might start off chilly and quickly warm up as movement continues. Join us and experience the benefits and the fun!
