Sold Out: Floral Design Workshop on the UCSC Farm
Learn how to make beautiful floral arrangements at this hands-on workshop at the UCSC Farm. Instructor Heidi Harris, CASFS Event Specialist and experienced florist, will lead the class in a demonstration of different types of arrangements and an overview of flower care and tools used in floristry. Participants will then have the opportunity to harvest organic flowers on the farm to use to create unique take-home arrangements.
All skill levels welcomed, no experience required!
This workshop is limited to 15 participants. Please bring your own vase or water tight container with a 5-6" opening, snips, hat, water, and comfortable walking shoes. Please park and check in at the Hay Barn before walking up to the farm. Registrants may submit questions or topics of interest to Heidi Harris, hharris2@ucsc.edu
