For over twenty years, El Centro has hosted La Bienvenida to establish a sense of belonging for Chicanx, Latinx, and multiracial students! Our goal is to introduce and connect students to various Chicanx / Latinx student organizations and campus resources. We hope students take advantage of this opportunity to connect with other community members, and learn about cultural events, activities, and the Santa Cruz community. Additionally, we hope students build new relationships that will support their academic, co-curricular and social life during their time at UC Santa Cruz. This years theme is "Celebrating our Community". We chose this theme to commemorate and celebrate all the hardships we have overcome these past 3 years.
