Latino Farmer Conference / Conferencia del(la) Agricultor(a) Latino(a)
Latino Farmer Conference Launches
The 7th annual Latino Farmer Conference begins December 8, 2021, at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. The conference is presented entirely in Spanish. It addresses conservation farming broadly, highlighting a Latino farm with a tour filmed by NCAT staff to show practices, and with speakers to provide information resources and programs that support farmers with technical assistance and cost-share funds. The first five Latino Farmer Conferences were presented in person in California. Similar to last year, this year's event is virtual, with three monthly sessions. It's free and available to anyone to attend. The next sessions will take place on January 12 and February 9, 2022.
