The FDA's ASCA pilot program for medical device development
Learn about the new U.S. Food and Drug Administration pilot program—the Accreditation Scheme for Conformity Assessment (ASCA) pilot—to make safe and effective medical devices available to patients in an efficient and least burdensome manner.
At this popular annual FDA event sponsored by the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) and cosponsored by UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, you will hear how ASCA aims to streamline the conformity assessment of medical devices when certain FDA recognized standards are used. This is a great opportunity for professionals in the regulatory affairs and quality assurance fields to learn about the draft guidance document that the FDA will be issuing in October. The FDA will be soliciting public comments between October and December of 2019.
Register through RAPS. Student discount available.
