The Secret Society of Mentors, an initiative of the Genomics Institute's DEI committee, is organizing a workshop on Friday, November 1 2024, from 12 PM- 1PM in PSB-305 on Mentoring Styles (RSVP for pizza!) 

We aim to organize workshops and social events every quarter, and this is a great opportunity to meet other mentors! This is the first workshop of this academic year and will focus on how mentoring styles vary and assess what works for us. We will also hear the academic journey and mentoring experiences of Dr. Estefania Sanchez, a postdoc in the Shariati Lab from the Biomolecular Engineering department!

Join us and your fellow mentors in sharing your experiences and ideas on effective mentoring! This event is open to graduate students and/or postdocs, and aims to create a helpful community for mentors. Please consider signing up for the event and remember to RSVP for free pizza!
