Merrill Undergraduate Research Program Panel

Every year, Merrill provides funding to support Merrill faculty fellows to engage Merrill students in hands-on research. Join us for a panel about research projects that benefit faculty and students by allowing faculty to complete projects and publish, and students to learn the ins and outs of research via the mentorship of experts in their field of interest. Our panel highlights students and faculty who engaged in research on race, religion, and law in Africa; the history of Merrill’s first Core course, silencing cellular responses in autoimmune disease, and the history of botanical and pharmaceutical exploration in the Amazon in the mid-20th century.
