MESA Day 2023

This annual event brings hundreds of 6th - 12th graders to campus to compete against their peers in a variety of challenging math, science, engineering, and technology events.

Balsawood gliders, MESA machines, and impact structures,  are a few of the many competitions. Working with MESA advisors and industry volunteers, students work throughout the academic year on curricula and hands-on projects that reinforce California State Math and Science Standards and support college preparation.

On MESA Day students meet STEM career professionals, take part in college presentations, and showcase projects they have designed and built.
