About this Event
View map Free EventUCSC students, staff, and faculty are invited to #MeToo and Women of Color in the Arts, a forum designed to empower the next generation of women in arts industries by learning our herstories. The forum features a panel discussion (November 14, 4:00-6:00 p.m.) that will include two of the most prominent women of color in the #metoo movement: Rowena Chiu (featured in the film, She Said, 2022) and Drew Dixon (featured in the film On the Record, 2020). They will be in conversation with a Q&A including UC Santa Cruz faculty. The films will be screened a few days ahead of the panel discussion. While the panel focuses on women of color in the arts industries, these stories and speakers resonate across disciplines.
Co-presented by the Arts Division and the Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
