MLK Day of Service at UCSC Arboretum & Botanic Garden

Have a few hours to spare? Come help out in the gardens of the arboretum!

Help beautify  the California Conservation Garden (CCG), a library for rare and endangered plant communities of the Central Coast!

We will be working out in the California Conservation Garden, past the back gate. Help with spreading DG on the pathways (shoveling & wheelbarrowing) and weeding out non-natives (pulling weeds), among California native plants.

Dress accordingly to weather, forecast is partly cloudy.

  • Snacks
  • On-site training (no experience necessary)
  • Tools & Gloves

Things to Bring:

  • Water
  • Lunch (if needed)
