'Moving Forward' Film Screening- Wildfire Recovery and Preparedness for Farmers
Co-hosted by the Center for Agroecology at University of California at Santa Cruz at the Cowell Ranch Historic Hay Barn, the Community Alliance with Family Farmers presents “Moving Forward”. This short film was produced by local filmmakers, West Cliff Creative, and features Sea to Sky Farm and Beeline Blooms, two small farming operations impacted by the CZU lightning complex fires in 2020. The film is presented in English with Spanish subtitles. Join us to learn about on-farm wildfire preparedness tips, and partake in a town hall style discussion after the screening with CAFF staff, farmers, and filmmakers.
