Moving Up without Losing Your Way—Jennifer Morton in Conversation with Jody Greene

This event is a campus conversation with Jennifer Morton, a professor of philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania and Jody Greene, CITL Faculty Director.  Professor Morton is an author of 'Moving Up Without Losing Your Way: The Ethical Costs of Upward Mobility,' a book which examines broken ties with family and friends, the loss of community and identity, and other issues faced by students as they strive to earn a successful place in society.  The event is hosted and sponsored by The Humanities Institute (THI) and Center for Innovations in Teaching and Learning (CITL) with reception to follow from 5:30-6:30pm.
