The latest in the "My Journey: Sharing the Successes of Entrepreneurs and Great Thinkers,” event series, UC Santa Cruz Foundation Trustee and Trustee of the Sikh Foundation, Raj Kapany, will host and be in conversation with Mandeep Arora, a renowned startup advisor and VC at Nordic Ventures, and CEO at Furno Materials.

The 45-minute conversation will cover a range of topics, from the emotional rollercoaster of starting a business to practical strategies in team building, funding, recruitment, management, operational challenges, and maintaining work-life balance.

This innovative program is brought to UCSC through the Sikh Foundation as part of the rich legacy established by the late Dr. Narinder Kapany, and supported through partnership with the University of California Santa Cruz's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED), Baskin School of Engineering and the Innovation and Business Engagement Hub.

Raj Kapany envisions this series as a catalyst for inspiration and empowerment, transcending geographical barriers and nurturing a global community of innovative, resilient entrepreneurs.
