UCSC Farm, Alan Chadwick Garden, Abounding Harvest Mountain Farm, Four Winds Growers

The UC Santa Cruz Center for Agroecology is offering a new short course on organic citrus growing with in-person sessions at the UCSC Farm, Alan Chadwick Garden, Abounding Harvest Mountain Farm, and Four Winds Growers, as well as online lecture and videos. Four seasoned citrus growers will provide detailed information appropriate for a range of growers, from the home gardener to the small-scale grower. Presenters include Chadwick Garden Manager Orin Martin, Farm Garden Manager Christof Bernau, Daniel Paduano Farm Manager and Co-owner of Abounding Harvest Mountain Farm, and Aaron Dillon of Four Winds Grower citrus nursery.

Please note that the course will primarily be in-person on the weekend of April 30-May 1, but will start with an online lecture and video demonstration on the evening of April 27th. The in-person sessions will be at four different locations, so please see full course description here.

Registration: 

Pre-registration is required. Full course registration cost is $450. Scholarships are available.
