The California Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act of 2025 (SB 684, AB 1243) is a bill that would hold fossil fuel companies financially responsible for the hundreds of billions of dollars in damages that the state of california is experiencing as a result of climate change. The bill will be coming up for a vote in the state legislature in early June, and many representatives are still undecided, so this is a pivotal moment to advocate for the bill.
