Going Global: Celebrating International Learning and Scholarship

Join us to learn about and celebrate our path toward becoming a global university. As we advance student success and research excellence in a global context, we are establishing UC Santa Cruz as a leader at the intersection of innovation and social justice, amplifying our positive impact on California, the nation, and the world.

Come hear from Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Lori Kletzer about our increasing portfolio of global learning opportunities for our students that provide transformative experiences for personal and professional growth. Help us recognize and celebrate the increasing number of global prestigious scholarships awarded to our students and faculty such as the Fulbright and Rhodes. We will honor the 75th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program and our campus designation in 2021 as one of 35 Hispanic Serving Institutions recognized for noteworthy engagement with the Fulbright exchange program.

We welcome you to participate in this celebration and join the conversation about your own international experiences and dialogue about how UC Santa Cruz can continue to expand our global footprint and advance opportunities and engagement internationally to prepare our students to be interculturally competent, global citizens and to amplify our research impact in the world for the global good.
