the cantu queer center is excited to host our 3rd annual rainbowsgiving gathering next thursday 11/28 with dinner being served at 6pm here in the cabin.  the hope for rainbowsgiving is to provide a space for folks who don't have a place to go during the november holiday/break because it is not safe to go home, they can't afford to travel, and/or other challenges.   for the last two years we have provided a space for students, staff, and community members to come together festively and to form new connections (and enjoy good food).  in 2022, we had about 15 people gather here in the cabin ... in 2023, we had over 40 people come together at the Women's Center (including the chancellor), and this year we continue the tradition. 

this year we will gather in the cantu center's cabin behind merrill and crown colleges.  doors open at 5pm and dinner will be served at 6pm.
