There is a lack of a direct pipeline toward industry internships for UCSC's undergrad and grad students. This issue needs to be addressed through an interwoven experience for undergraduates and graduates to engage directly with various industries, playing varying roles in various sizes. The UCSC Bioinformatics Team enables students to realize their full potential through direct access to industry and academia.
