As India and the world continue to cope with an unprecedented humanitarian crisis related to Covid-19, CAPS and GE would like to offer a two-part program and healing space in solidarity and support to our students.

Join Dr. Nupur Sahai, a cross-cultural psychologist of Indian descent, as we explore ways to cope with grief and find meaning and resilience in adversity during this difficult time. In particular, we will also explore ways to bring our minds to the present, especially as our students continue to focus on their academic growth at UCSC.

Dr. Sahai has extensive experience serving international students in the U.S., as well as providing therapy services in India. She approaches her work from a trauma-informed perspective and aims to provide a space of understanding, growth, and healing for students. She brings her clinical, research, and lived experience as an international of South Asian descent to this program. Dr. Sahai is bilingual in Hindi and English.

This space will be held twice on Thursdays, July 8 and July 15. Register here for the Zoom link.
