The Cardiac Pacer

The Cardiac Pacer is a bi-annual cross country race hosted by the UCSC Cross Country Club. Throughout the five mile course, the Cardiac Pacer gives racers a tour of all the beauty the UCSC campus has to offer. Starting at the OPERS East Field, runners will zig zag their way through campus toward the theater department. From there runners move from pavement to trail winding their way into upper campus on both single track and fire roads. After three miles of cross country style racing, runners are returned back onto the roads passing Cowell and Stevenson for a fast finish back down to the OPERS East Field.
