Kat Hsueh, B.S., HRM Certificate
Director, Talent and Technology, ROI Communication —Most people who work in Human Resources are risk-averse. Kat Hsueh is a race car driver with a passion for strategic thinking—on the road, in HR leadership, and in career development. She began her career in hardware and software development, working in a range of product development and program manager roles at Amazon/Lab 126, Method Products, LeapFrog Enterprises, Adobe Systems and Master Replicas/Corgi International. She went on to serve in senior HR roles at At ROI Communication, FireEye and LinkedIn, where she helped establish HR systems and processes for a LinkedIn workforce that tripled during her two-year tenure from 2,000 to 6,000 employees. Kat earned a B.S. in textiles and clothing from UC Davis, a certificate in Human Resource Management from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, and additional professional certification from the Society of Human Resources Management. She lives near Santa Cruz with her rescue pets.
