Perched above Monterey Bay on the UC Santa Cruz campus, the Center for Agroecology's Farm offers thriving examples of organic agriculture and horticulture on both a hand-worked garden scale and medium-sized, tractor-worked farm scale. The 30-acre center's Farm offers visitors the opportunity to see first-hand how to build fertile soil and control pests, recycle yard and kitchen waste, conserve water, and encourage biodiversity.

Registered guests can park in lot 122, walk up the hill to the farm road, and continue on up to the gatehouse where the tour will begin.
