Virtual Info Session - Fellowships for Research in Japan
Are you interested in research, collaboration, and travel opportunities in Japan?
Join the Division of Global Engagement as we host the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) for a virtual information session (via Zoom) about fellowship opportunities in Japan. Attend to learn about fellowship eligibility, application procedures, and what life is like as a researcher in Japan.
JSPS, the largest research-funding agency in Japan, has hundreds of funding opportunities available to all fields (social-science, humanities, STEM, multi-disciplinary) for research at all Japanese Universities and public research institutions.
Staff from JSPS will be present during this virtual information session to answer your questions about fellowship opportunities and life as a researcher in Japan. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about funding options directly from JSPS staff!

All faculty, students, and staff are welcome; This information session is particularly relevant for:
- Pre-PhD students (summer and short-term fellowships)
