Housing at UC Santa Cruz continues to be influenced by enrollment trends at the University of California and housing trends in the city of Santa Cruz, and crises from the pandemic to the CZU Complex fires that drove mountain dwellers into the already short supply of in-town rental housing. Attendees will learn from staff and students about life at Merrill during challenging housing conditions that have started to seem like the new normal, and how Housing and Residential Education, in partnership with other campus offices, have adapted to provide an on-campus living experience to our students.  Come with your questions for staff and students!
