William Coulter and Friends - Folk & Baroque

Grammy Award-winning guitarist and UCSC lecturer William Coulter welcomes special guests, including guitarist Christopher Mallett, and violinist Edwin Huizinga. Music from many traditions including Bach, Celtic, American, and Swedish Folk Music. Coulter and Huizinga, also known as the duo Fire & Grace, will give a performance of The Liquid Gold Suite, a blending of music by Bach with Irish dance music. Coulter and Mallett will perform a medley of American Shaker music. Special guest vocalist Fiona Gillespie will perform songs from the Celtic music traditions.
