WiSE Naturalists Summer Stargazing
We’re turning our naturalist eyes up to the sky! Join us for a warm summer evening exploring the vast universe beyond Earth, visible from right here on campus. UCSC Astronomy Ph.D. student Kat Feng will share her knowledge of the stars, planets, and constellations, and we might come across some nocturnal wildlife as well.
We’ll have telescopes, snacks and drinks, but we recommend that you bring a mug, layers, flashlights, blankets or camp chairs, and anything else that you need to be comfortable outdoors.
All experience levels and ages are welcome!
This event will be postponed in the case of poor viewing conditions. Live updates and a map showing the meeting and stargazing locations can be found on our Facebook event page (see link below).
