The music was interesting and I much enjoyed the two dance numbers. BUT there was no information provided about the musical culture of Eurasia nor any details about the instruments themselves. A microphone would have helped the speaker.

I registered online within a day of the event being announced because I knew it would fill up quickly. But when the time got closer, I realized I never received an email confirmation about my registration, so I inquired about it. I was told that I was *not* registered (WHAT?), and the event was sold out. But they did suggest I log on for the live webcast, which was great. I enjoyed the lecture, and enjoyed viewing it from the comfort of my home. I hope the live webcast is a regular feature with these very popular speakers like Lanier.
